So if you have been reading my blog for a while then chances are you’ve picked up on the fact that I am all about wellness; being the best version of you and getting the most out of your day. Green machine smoothies are pretty popular because of all of the vitamins and nutrients they provide. Not only do they pack a punch in the health department but they are oh so yummy! You can pretty much make a green machine smoothie anyway you want too as long as you have the basics, liquid, fruit, a leafy green, and something to supercharge it. The possibilities for creation are almost endless! The smoothie I made is a pretty basic one. You can find all of these ingredients at your local supermarket (no need to go to a specialty store). It came out really good, so I decided to share it with you guys! I used granny smith apples, kiwi, spinach, white grapes, chia seeds, and water.
If you don’t like a ‘chunky’ smoothie I would peel the apples and grapes, as you will be chewing on the skin otherwise. This smoothie is high in vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin K, vitamin E, folate, potassium, fiber, protein, calcium, niacain, zinc, and more!
1/2 granny smith apple
1 handful of white grapes
1 handful of spinach
1 tbs of chia seeds
1 cup of water (or juice of choice)
Peel and cut apple, grapes, and kiwi. Roughly chop spinach. Add ingredients to blender. Blend until mixed well. Serve and enjoy!
