Establishing Your ‘Why’ in Business

Many want success and the definition varies depending on who you ask. It can be a dollar amount, it can be a status.

No matter what it is, if you want to be successful, you MUST have a strong why. A ‘why’ is the reason that you live, sleep, eat, and breathe what ever it is you that want to be successful at.

If your not passionate and fully committed to your dream, then you either need a different dream, or a stronger why.

Money is great, however, even if your dirt poor, it isn’t a strong enough why on its own. If you say something like “I want enough money to provide myself and family with a better life”, you’ve added substance. You’ve added soul.

Your why has to be so strong that it makes you cry. Your why needs to be so strong that it motivates you when you feel like giving up. It pushes you when you feel like you cant go anymore.

It needs depth. It needs sustenance. That is why many fail. Maybe you’re apart of that many. The reason you were grinding just wasn’t good enough to hold up against the grueling journey to your goal. Remember success doesn’t happen over night. Your why must be able to withstand the test of time.

My son is my why. I have no other choice but to succeed. I will provide him with a great life. I will be so successful that my grandchildren’s grandchildren will NEVER worry about money. However it’s not about the money to me. It is about stability and example. I want stability for my family. I want stability for others in the world. These are the reasons why I do what I do. These are the reasons why wont ever give up.

I want my so to watch my rise to success. I want him to see that despite all odd’s (and I have many!), I can rise above, with hard work, a positive mind, and dedicated focus. I hope to encourage him and others through my own actions. I want everyone to seek success! I want everyone to pursue their dreams, no matter what.

Because trust me, if I can do it, ANYONE can!

You’ve just got to believe in you!

So tell me, whats your why? Will it withstand the test of the path to success?

As always, Peace and Positive vibes
